As for now we dont allow pin submission for legal reasons. We have to check every single pin, and link back to the copyright holder.
In the future we might open up pin submissions for contributing members.

What are pins? When I click on it I get a bunch of photos from different galleries but I don't understand it. Are they photos chosen by the admins?

oh yes, that can be tricky. Now every picture in each gallery has to be linked with respective copyright holder. Ig currently it is just linked with the overall gallery schema. Anyways will wait for it. Its really cool feature!
