My new year resolution is to keep my ejaculation count and set an upper cap on it. 15 max this year. Once a month and 3 bonus(uncontrolled) leveraged ones. If you find it interesting share your upper circuit figures and we make sure we never go bust.

Maybe I'm getting confused but do you seriously intend to only ejaculate 15 times throughout the year ?
If so,and without intentionally being nosey why would you wish to restrict yourself so seriously to once a month ?
If that's your firm intent then I wish you good luck with keeping it all above board so to speak but I certainly couldn't do it.Not a hope lol.
It's not a matter of seeing ejaculation as shedding your essence is it ?
Personally, and we all have our own beliefs but I fully believe who you are, your inner strength, vital spark and creativity etc comes from within.
I can imagine if someone excessively masturbates or over indulges in sex it could have a tiring effect over time but pursuing a healthy sex life/masturbation routine isn't,I believe, going to have any ill effect.
Your strength and energy comes from nourishment, nutrition, sunlight, exercise etc. When you spill your seed it's rapidly replenished.
In fact,by all accounts if you go to sleep and haven't ejaculated at all then it will seep out overnight, maybe in the form of a wet dream because it needs to be renewed and refreshed.
Once it's become less fresh or stale then it needs to be discharged one way or another. So I understand anyway .
As far as I know, talking to medical and nursing friends I know, they reckon it's extremely healthy to ejaculate daily.
Of course,we all have different beliefs and opinions.I've always been drawn to the idea of Sex Magick where the pent up sexual tension that's not allowed to be released is an excellent form of 'magical energy' to use for rituals and to empower the visualisation process.
I don't dabble in such things nor do I believe there is any objectively proof that such things as magic or 'the secret' works but it's a fascinating subject and the mental pathworking that is a feature of 'magic' certainly could have some real effect on one's mindset 😊
Yes no matter how much I detested manta chia text on absolute restrain from ejaculation.ย Some part of it resonated with me. We as part of natural species and part of nature should imitate some tendencies of other beings. Just because we got smartphones and tons of porn and erotica we cannot go on spilling our seed every other day. Just for the sake of some resonance with other species and nature itself I am putting a restrain on me. No other species look around carefully has gone crazy berserk with females like us. There has to be some parity.
Well I don't know about that I mean look at our closest relatives i.e Chimps and Bonobos.
ย
Chimps are extremely violent, highly aggressive going to war fighting other groups of chimps aswell as hunting smaller monkeys till they're completely gone.
Bonobos which are another breed of Chimpanzee essentially are pretty much loved up,playing with themselves constantly ,at it with the same and opposite sex including closely related siblings.
Apparently though it works for them and all that overactive sexual activity makes them very calm, content and placcid ๐
Personally,I've no actual idea how regularly an average human male should ideally ejaculate. I'm going on what I have been told by friends that work in the medical industry but who knows.
Obviously,to excess is not good at all in any sense but whether we have a natural rhythm or cycle as such that our bodies follow is something I'm not at all sure about.
It's like many things about being human I don't think there's a specific answer that suits everyone.
For example,it's regularly stated that we need 8 hours sleep every night but if we only get 6 or 7 then we will suffer in some way just for the lack of that hour or two.
To add to that it cannot be caught up on later by sleeping 10 hours the next night.
If you only get 6 hours a night normally then you will suffer over the long term and the accumulative effect is somewhat like being drunk apparently.
Now,despite this being apparently sound advice from doctors andย medical professionals I can't help thinking 'bullshit'.
Before the industrial revolution and the rise of full time work in the cities the majority of people worked with or on the land.
In summer they would rise early as did the sun and in the latter part of the year less so.
For,the vast majority of our species existence our sleeping and wakening hours were in tune with the rhythm of nature.
The idea of a set time to wake and get up every day aswell as a set time to go to bed and sleep is an artificial construct and one that's probably at best 200 years old.
Before the railways there wasn't a standard time across the country with noon being based on the position of the sun rather than dictated by Greenwich Mean Time.
Therefore I find it hard to believe we have become rigidly dependent on getting 8 hours exactly every night in such a short space of time.
It sounds to me more like another way of trying to make people conform to the productive worker model where we're all a small part in the greater economy playing our part as tiny cogs that power the 'market' by the work we do then again by consuming aswell ๐
I mention it just to suggest that like with the idea of there being a great deal of flexibility within what we require in terms of sleep so to I believe we are equally flexible between individuals as to what would constitute too much shedding of the seed.
If you are Catholic the joke being it's held to be sacred so any deliberate discharge that doesn't find it's way within the womb is considered sinful.
Whether that's true or mostly a Monty Python joke I am not really sure. The one genuine practicing Catholic I've known I wanted to beat to a pulp if I ever got the chance to and get away with it lol.
That's the thing about humanity. We are natural and part of nature itself. To my mind we are just a smart monkey or ape/primate if you prefer but a definite natural product of planet earth just like every other living thing..not divine or made in the image of.....or engineered by an advanced alien ancestor.
At the same time we have evolved beyond the simple natural law that governs most other species.
We have long since altered and sabotaged any natural evolution. There's not been any natural selection or survival of the fittest for a century or more.
So we have gone on somewhere else from our strictly natural path to who knows where.
I can see why many would wish to pursue what appears to be a lifestyle that much more seems in tune with a natural resonance.
In saying that when our entire modern lifestyle is so divorced from the natural world it almost seems too little too late.
I think you have to find your own rhythm and natural cycle. Although I have heard men have something similar to the menstrual cycle but I don't know for sure ๐
Yes I agree that you got to find your own rhythm and cycle. But we have got so dislocated and disharmonized if that's a word in the modern frenzy of excessive rewards and material options that we don't even know we are disoriented in some way. Being fucked up is the new cool but it's not.ย
The best way to find what works got you is simple. I call is harmonizing with nature in my own way at my own terms with my own set of rules. The test is simple. After doing the activity that I just did it should not feel like scratching my head with doubt that I over did it or any sense or remorse or guilt should not linger. That's the litmus test for me.
That's the harmony I wish to achieve with this resolution.
ย You've hit the nail on the head.
It's not just our 24 hour constantly on call full time overload society that demands everything should be there for the taking right here and now.
There's social media driving the narrative for everyone and the mainstream media and internet seem to conflate it worse than ever .
There's pressure from culture around you, from social media,tv,magazines, over the very airwaves around us all demanding we should be doing this, wanting that and.the expectations can get ramped up so high the only possible real world result has to be disappointment in the end.
I'm lucky being born in the early 1970s meaning I grew up with no internet or even mobile phones.
I was 27 at the very end of 1999 so all.this lovely manufactured 21st century pressure we enjoy today I could happily take or leave without it bothering me at all.
To this day, even more so today truthfully,I refer to myself as a 20th Century Boy (after the T rex song by Marc Bolan) and have a lot of disdain for much of the way the world has become and is going, not exactly great if you rate individuality and independence highly, that's not the way society is heading right now.
Echo chambers, hive minds and socialism, group think and double speak prevails ๐
Anyway,as you say ultimately it's about tuning out all that modern demamds and commands to listen to your own natural cadence, rhythm and resonance and getting in time or 'sync' as we'd refer to it today.I prefer to say in time,in step also.
If you have a strong sense of what feels right for you in terms of how you go about it and how often then that's the only thing you need to listen to.
One size just can't fit all, what suits one person doesn't work for someone else.
We truly are each and every one of us an individual.
It's the one thing that every human being alive today or that has ever lived has in common.
It's part of my personal mantra and the core of my political beliefs.
Freedom of speech, personal responsibility and the rights of the individual over the state, system or the 'collective'.
Enshrining those will cover everyone no matter colour/ethnicity or religion as like I say if we stop making colour, sexuality and religious affiliations as the cornerstone of personal identity and rather base it on the person, who they are as an individual then maybe we can get back from the silo effect and identity politics of today which simply cannot work.
If we're to live as a people we have to break down the barriers not construct more .
Once again I'm way off on a rant and a tangent but it's so easily done.
Sorry folks 😔😉
Ya, we don't even know the price one pays for buck that we got to earn. It makes a person first contorted then Warped then grossly Askewed and the most wonderful and greatest achievement of this 24x7 machinery of production- it has normalized the abnormal. When everyone is twisted out of shape the monkeys compete in the different arena all together.ย Now the fight is who can bear most insanity and come out of it alive. Corporates are filled with fast paced lunatics purporting lunacy down the line and pass it as performance. God. I went on a rant. I hate corporates and control they impose on you.
I am into retro tech. I like old games, I want to build an old computer, and I enjoy outdated formats like CD and DVD, and I even have an in-box MiniDisc waiting to be be opened and used. However I don't like what social media has done to the world, as much as I enjoy going on it. And as much as the technological and scientific progress we've made has been spectacular sometimes I do wonder if the first was worth it. Obviously this in completely unrelated to the OP but those are my thoughts anyway.

I do wonder what living in an alternate reality with no Internet would be like. More annoying but perhaps calmer?

Just an hour of disconnected internet is enough to make us feel uneasy and unsettled. Now internet is as important as electricity in our houses if not more.ย
But age of internet also bring perils unknown to us 2 decades ago. There is tons of information and one should know how to use that information because information half cooked and served in dangerous and a legal weapon.ย
You see so many warped ideologies shaped by internet and people act on them daily. I would call myself a victim of internet. Has there been no internet, I wouldn't have known about the surgery I went through and I would still be able to play my piano.ย
