Why had the noble bush fallen out of favour?

I suspect it's an age thing at the moment, but let's compare a 20-year-old now and (say) fourty years ago. Watching porn from that time will show almost all women in porn are unshaven, and not just down there. In more modern times shaving down there is seen as fashionable. Not all women do it but particularly younger ones will do so likely for the approval of sexual partners or wanting to feel more beautiful or less 'dirty' as was the case with shaving under the arm. Naomi Campbell helped popularise it in society, but as with all trends and beauty standards they will change over time. In the middle ages in the UK, people would try to have as large a forehead as possible by plucking hairs. Classic sculptures of men will have smaller penises as they were considered more honourable. We'll have to wait and see what happens to shaving down there. It may stay or it may be out of fashion; perhaps a belief emerges that it is too promiscuous.

Funny you mentioning the UK as I would imagine my spelling of certain words,particularly with 'our' as opposed to 'or' endings would proclaim me as a product of the Sceptred Isle myself.

Definitely there's a generational element to it without doubt.I'm a GenXer so the fourty applies not the twenty.I suppose my earliest memories of anyrhing vaguely erotic would be page 3 girls. You're absolutely right about trends and what is considered beautiful has changed historically and often due to seemingly outside factors.

They say that back in the day a woman with a little excess fat was desirable as it suggested she came from a background that was richer in resources such as food,she'd be seen as potentially more healthy and therefore fertile.The skinny bird was considered possibly under nourished and of lower breeding stock.

Mind you in saying all of that I remember seeing imtimate photos of Kate Winslet who I would consider an attractive girl back in the day but she sported something akin to tbe Amazon Rain Forest along with pits to match. It's absolutely her body and bodyhair,there's no reason whatsoever that my opinion matters in anyway but my attraction certainly lessened after seeing that.

Conversely,my attraction has never dimmed on viewing a models lack of a bush nor have I ever felt the slightest tinge of disappointment at discovering the lack of hair on getting my dirty paw into a womans knickers for the first time.

 No,as an analogy I've always been into cars,loved them as long as I can remember. I've no close family members that are especially into them but according to my mother she'd prop me up in my pram as a baby so I could see all the cars go by and be happy as a pig in shit.

My point being,it was hugely significant and shaped my life from then to this day but for something so feels so intrinsic true to me I can't account for where it came from. I dare say I could speculate all day long but it would really be no better than a wild guess.

The larger point being who the hell knows what it is that makes us prefer this over that but it often goes back further or deeper down then we truly can understand fully.

Why do I prefer women of the type that I do (and when I say type the truth is 'up for it' is my only real type lol),like the car thing I could offer up some plausible   sounding reasons but I can't truthfully say they are anymore valid than 100 others.

I like what I like because I like it is about as close to heart of it as I am ever likely to get I suspect 🙂

The Mark 1 Capri was a fine car! I think my father had one many years ago, although I might be confusing it with his Nissan 280Z, another classic.

I've been guilty over many years of making a direct comparison between the purity,beauty and quality of the bodylines of particular cars to women's curves or bodylines I suppose.

That's probably seen as somewhat masoganistic and unenlightened but I would pretty obviously disagree.

Comparing the well proportioned and classic form of something to another thing of beauty seems perfectly natural.

Admittedly I prefer simpler cars than more extravagant ones. I prefer the Ferrari 458 to the 488 and hideous F8, and I prefer the Bugatti Veyron to the Chiron. My true interest is in trains however, and with the exception of the very curvy Class 390 Pendolino, there's isn't much of a comparison to be made. I am younger than you, much closer to 20, but I am impressed that we have somewhat similar tastes. I think that the bush may be coming back into fashion as body hair on women is starting to be considered more appealing, albeit in a feminist 'standing up to the patriarchy' way. It is not mainstream however.

For me and my gf shaven is preferred as it looks more cleaned and hygienic. But sometimes we both let them grow and then shaves each other's.
