New Tagging System

And I thought you were  going to share the planning before implementing it. I'm sure I can find that post if I look for it. 

First feedback. 

a) I wish you had spent the time implementing a content rater. Still no indication of whether a set is worth looking at. You can click on hundreds of tags now, but you still don't get the most important information i.e. whether the girl is naked at all and even better flashing her cunt. I can tag it with Blonde, high heels, stockings, outside,  pool, wet, thongs, lingerie, big boobs etc, but I still don't know if it's porn or a freaking Sears Catalogue. I guess "Pussy" has been introduced for this. 

b) Age Categories. Totally fucked up there. What is the difference between Cougar, Milf and Mature? What is "Old Young"? Not good. 

c) I really wish you'd have added "Medium Tits". How do I search for girls with normal sized breasts? 

d) I think the Search for further categories is A REAL PAIN IN THE ARSE. I am doing this for free on my time to help you and YOU JUST MADE THE PROCESS MORE TIME CONSUMING. Fuck that. I will never use it. The non-visible tags will wither and die, no-one will use them, because no-one will search for them. You need a better mechanism. This is a real shame for "Trimmed Pussy" as there's nothing I prefer more than a clean shaved bush. 

e) For fucks sake, you deleted all the Squirting and did not convert them to "Pissing". That's a tonne dude. Nice work. Please retrieve the old tags and convert them.  

This is still a work in progress open for additions and changes from our contributors.

a) We are thinking of using the following tags for basic content classification. We can add them on the very top of the tag suggestions under 'Classification' something:
solo
solo spreading
solo masturbation
lesbian
sex

b) We were struggling with those categories a little. We dont have that much older women content on this site, but want to keep the same/similar tag structure than on our sister site babehub.com.
Milf: is a mother
Mature: just older women.not a mother, but can be.
Cougar: is an older women that fucks young guys
Old Young: could go into the Hardcore category rather than the age category.

c) The difference between main categories and tags is user interest. 80% of users are fine with the main categories and will never user micro tags. To satisfy the other 20%, and get some micro targeted search traffic, we introduced the micro tags. Users either search for big tits or small tits. Only a very small % of users search for medium tits. We can add this tag to the micro tags.

d) We have 3000 tags, and cant list them all under tag suggestion. Thats why we shrinked it to the categories while still offering the micro tags for search. I can't think of a better way to solve this from a UX viewpoint. Half of the micro tags will be auto tagged based on the main tags. Example tag Asian, Tall -> Tall Asian.

e) that was done by mistake while cleaning up the squirting category. We still have the backup data and will add those tags to 'Pissing' this week.

I think something went seriously wrong with the new tags. This cannot be by design. 

In real life I'm a software guy, with a lot of knowledge of DBs. I don't like the classification suggestion above too much because it mixes two aspects together in the one field.

a) participants (solo, lesbian, sex) 

b) actions (spreading, masterbation)

Neither of these fields addresses my wish, which is 

c) level of pornography e.g. (nothing, tits, pussy, hardcore)

I think the best thing you can make on this site is something that enables the user to get to the good stuff quickly. Seriously, on a porn site, who wants to look at a picture of a girl rugged up in three layers of clothes while standing in the snow (I posted about it before). If I had the filter possibility then (pornography >= pussy) would always be on. I'm not interested in seeing the pics from "Stockings freaks" or whatever the pornsite is called. I want to see pussies. ALWAYS. 
 
Another thing that I think would improve the site would be 

d) quality - sort of an all-encompassing judgement of the set. Maybe a rating out of 5. 

5 - stunning model, good lighting, model engaged in shoot, variety of shots, high degree of pornography
4 - between 3 and 5
3 - ok model, decent lighting, model happy enough, some variation, some pussy available. 
2 - between 3 and 1
1 - ugly model, shitty photography, model looks bored, repetitive shots, no pornography

You could use contribution activity as a weighting for the quality judgement. The heavy contributors "Elite Level", their opinion is worth a lot more than a random user e.g. normal user gets 1 vote, Elite Level gets 5 vote. So if normal user votes 5 and elite level votes 4, then the overall rating is (1*5 + 5*4) / (1+5) = 25 / 6 = 4.16

Dude, if I had that, then paradise. The selection criteria would be (pornography >= pussy) and (quality > 3,5) and I'm the happiest porn consumer in the universe.

Actually, paradise would be if I could filter out fake tits. I hate them. I wish there was a tag for "fake tits" so that I could select "No fake tits". 

I know I'm late, but my first impression is that there are way too many tags, and they're too specific. Let me give a few examples. To start off with, pissing:

- Asian pissing

- Hairy pissing

- Lesbian pissing

- Public pissing

- Pissing

We have a standard pissing tag, but then four other ones. There are so many 'Asian x' tags, to the point that it's silly. The 'Pissing' tag should be the only one, and there should be one 'Asian' tag, one for each hair colour, race, age group, country, etcetera. The new system is needlessly complicated. Based on the numbers on the page with all the tags it seems the more generic ones are the most popular, which is lucky, but having dozens of tags that someone would need to look for to get all of the Asian-tagged galleries (as an example) is just too much.

If the admin team would like my help I wouldn't mind going through all of them and creating a new list of tags which would work better.

I am not sure If I understand correctly, but you dont need to select all asian related micro tags to get all asian galleries. 99.9% of Galleries that have for example "Asian Pissing", will also have "Asian" as a Tag. The micro tags can just be used to drill down even further.

1. Micro Tags
I agree that some of the micro tags seem to niche, but believe me guys that a large pool of users are looking for something very specific, like "Blondes with small tits" or "Hairy Girls Pissing". A large portion of those users come from search engines where they query their micro niche. We need to have a specific tag page to serve those users. The more users our site can attract the more resources we have to add content and to develop the site further.

To not bother all users with micro tags we limited the amount of tags we show on each gallery to 12. If a gallery has more than 12 then we list the main tags first, then the micro tags, and a "# more tags" button. I know it's not perfect, but these kind of things are about finding the right balance.

I think the following tags classify content perfectly by "level of pornography". Maybe we can add "clothed", but thats would only match a small portion of galleries. The following tags are a nice progression from innocent posing to showing it all, to giving it all up. I already added them to the tag suggestion and called them "Kink Level":

Solo
Solo Spreading
Masturbation
Lesbian
Sex

Something you want to add?
With those tags in place, we could allow the user to change his preferences in the settings, but first we would have to tag all 200.000 galleries. so this will take some time.

3. Rating of content
We do have a like button for every gallery, and I believe this works well. We use like data for the most popular galleries, and for the trending galleries (most popular within the last 6 months)
