I understand that web devs like to show off their scripting skills, and every site wants to separate themselves from the rest. But the new method of loading thumbnails that was implemented recently is NOT user friendly. The popular models with 100+ galleries are impossible to navigate their entire list of thumbnails on mobile devices before the script resets to the first 20 thumbnails. Having thumbnails divided by "pages" was the better system.
Please at least give us the option of using the old thumbnail loading system, otherwise I can't use this new one.
If anyone can offer a work around for the new thumbnail loading, kindly let me know. The site is useless to me on my mobile device. I've been using EB for a long time now, but unless there is a fix or workaround, I guess my time here is done.
Hi Kesmar,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the new interface.
We believe that infinite scrolling is the best way to present our content, similar to platforms like Pinterest and Imgur. The main advantage of infinite scrolling is that it initially loads only 20 images instead of 120, which significantly improves performance and page load times.
We tested the new layout on tablets and phones that are 12 and 13 years old, respectively, and did not encounter any issues.
We are still working on improvements. In the near future, we plan to implement code that will remove images that aren’t visible to decrease resource usage on older devices.
In the meantime, please try accessing our site using a different browser.
Thank you for the reply. I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max, not the most current tech, but it serves me well. I tested the site on Chrome, Edge and Safari with similar results loading the page: https://www.elitebabes.com/model/nancy-a/sort/latest/
Chrome and Safari will consistently allow me to scroll down to March 2019, Edge seems to only go back to September 2019. In all cases, when the script tries to load thumbnails from the next oldest galleries, it resets the page and loads the 20 most recent gallery thumbnails again. In all my attempts, I have never been able to load her content from before 2019 before the script resets to 2025.
For models that have less than 200 galleries, this is not an issue. But many models like Nancy, Mila Azul, Clarice, etc have much more content that is impossible to access now.
Perhaps a compromise would be to have a hybrid of loading 20 images at a time with a load cap of 100 images before offering a “next page” link. Or perhaps a way to “skip x” number of gallery thumbnails on a models page. Even on my PC, scrolling 700 gallery thumbnails of Mila Azul can be tedious. LOL
Just some ideas, if it’s too much effort for just me then I understand. Best wishes.
Thanks for your in depth answer kesmar. I understand and can reproduce the error.
We are working on a solution right now.
Excellent news! Thank you, and I’m glad I could help. Looking forward to the solution.
We've updated our infinite scrolling feature!
Now, you can scroll through a maximum of 200 previews, which should work seamlessly on all mobile devices. Once you reach that limit, you’ll see a ‘Load More’ button to take you to the next page. Plus, next week we’ll be adding page numbers above the button to help you navigate more easily.
We’ve also introduced a brand new sorting option called ‘Oldest’ on the model page, so you can easily access a model’s very first galleries.
What do u think?
Awesome! Works beautifully. The reverse sorting is a feature I’ve been wanting for a long time. And the load more button is perfect.
Thank you for your attention to this, much appreciated.
We added pagination on top of the 'load more' button.
