When looking in metart channel for example, before there were 40 pages, which doesn't even include all galeries if you ask me. Now it doesn't go past 10 pages. Doesn't matter what channel, Tag or pinboard. Is this just me? Can this issue be resolved? 2 weeks ago the 10 pages were down to 2, so clearly there's a bug on the site.

Spiders from search engines were constantly scanning all our archives, leading to huge loads on our database. Thats why we limited the galleries than can be queries for a channel, tag or on the index to 1000. That serves 99,99% of our users well.
Ill think about increasing it to 1500.

I get the server load yes, perhaps indeed make it possible to apply more filters. So one can still look at older galleries too. I don't know how that will affect server load... It sounds like a viable option though.
