My history tab is showing random galleries that I have never looked at and is not showing the galleries that I am looking at.

The history feature works for me in chrome and firefox. You can try to erase all the data and reset the tracking by clicking "delete History". That should do the trick. But be aware this will delete your entire Gallery History (not your faved galleries, collections.... just the last 200 galleries you visited)
