dark mode

We will add dark mode this year, but probably not custom backgrounds.

With the dark mode, could it please not be full black, more like a dark grey? Dull black dark modes are generally ugly, but more importantly it is very hard to read text on it. I'd recommend something like Quora's dark mode.
