I think the mods are on holiday right now, they haven't been replying to anything as far as I can see. That said, I do think it's a good idea.

Half the team is gone, and we just take care of the most urgent stuff right now.
To be honest I dont see the big advantage of being able to add multiple galleries at once. We will put this on the "maybe" pile.
