I've previously suggested this but I got no response and still think it's something that should be done. In addition to the newest sorting option, which is presumably based on the gallery's release date, there should be one that sorts it by when the galleries were added to the site. This is useful in the event that past shoots are added to existing profiles, like with Lulu Chu. Her oldest set when sorting by release date is marked as recently added because it's new, but that icon doesn't last forever and so returning users might now know some things are new.

I have been thinking a lot about this. We have invested considerable time in adding 'legacy content' to the site and want our users to be able to find it easily. This is why we introduced the 'recently added' tag for individual galleries that have been added to EB within the last 14 days. We chose not to add this as a sorting option to avoid confusing infrequent users, who might be puzzled by having both 'new' and 'recently added' options. Although this approach is not perfect, I believe adding the tag on the individual gallery is the best solution.
