Hi,
there are thankfully not many links to external hosters. However there are quite a few video links to xerotica. It would be nice to be able to tag the content of these videos locally, so that they appear in local searches. I mean occasionally you click on some video and it's good content, and I'd probably want to add it to a collection or tag it, but once you click on the link, you're over at xerotica and they have their own tags. It would be nice to catagorize it locally.
Any thoughts on how that would be possible, or even if you want it?

Nearly all our videos are hosted on xerotica and elitebabes.
Most of our pages link to the videos on elitebabes, where you can tag them, index, latest, contribute page...
On the model page we link to the videos at xerotica, but you can click on "oldest", there the videos link to elitebabes.

Thanks, but that doesn't answer the question. Just because a video is linking to an external site, doesn't mean there shouldn't be the possibility of classifying it locally. Personally, I think, if you want to use the search facility to find a video to your liking, then you will get better results if the (external) video is tagged. At the moment, these videos are not returned by searches.

We use our video site xerotica to add videos to our network of sites. We upload the videos and encode with different settings. These videos get then imported into our network of sites. For instance the following two videos are identical. They are hosted on xerotica.com domain, but are hotlinked in our network:
https://www.elitebabes.com/raw-erotic-wendy-sukof-in-wet-dream-103262/
https://www.xerotica.com/video/the-hot-chick-with-black-hair-is-standing-in-the-water%2C-showing-off-her-body-and-getting-out-of-her-swimsuit.-57349.html
They are the same video. You can tag the video at the elitebabes url: https://www.elitebabes.com/raw-erotic-wendy-sukof-in-wet-dream-103262/
Then the video will show up in the tag sections as well.

Sorry, but that's just one example where both videos are on the same model page, but the overwhelming majority of videos is a single link to either xerotica or on this site. So while in this very specific case, I could tag the content of the video, mostly I cannot. So the question remains, do you want this to be possible or not. Can external links be tagged internally or not?

All the videos we added the last 5 years are accessible on elitebabes as well as on xerotica. We do link to both of them.
If you want to see the video on elitebabes, then you can go to the model page, and click on the text link that comes up when you hover over the preview. If you click on the preview image then you will get to xerotica. Both videos are identical.
I know its not the best solution to have the videos duplicated on two sites. Eventually we will change it.
