Tagging a photo set with a generic tag like say closeup pussy is ok but when there is only one photo in the set that is close up it seems a little like click bait. That’s why I prefer Pinboards which is a great feature. Pinboards provide users closer to what they are looking for if done well. And they can be converted into to tags for that picture set or conformation of the tags. Which helps with accuracy. So in my opinion points for pinboards can contribute to the site better then the old tag system. Just my thoughts
thanks for the site and listening

How should the points for pinboards be awarded? One point for every follow?
I agree with the original poster, that pinboards add value to the site. So rewarding in some way seems fair. It takes time to search for the pics and waiting for the confirmation that the pin has been added is often tedious. I have some of the most popular pinboards. I think the max followers I have for a single pin board is 60 and in total it's probably 150 followers across 20+ pinboards. So number of followers doesn't really seem fitting. Maybe 5pts per follower? I dunno. I do it mostly for fun anyhow.
Perhaps some help to make them more prominent would be helpful for the site for example "featured pinboard" on the home page. Or perhaps a "random pinboard" feature like the "random model" feature would be interesting.
We still want to wait a little until we have enough good pinboards, to have a broad selection so we can place them below the picture galleries, below "related collections". That will give them a good boost. When we do this we will also try to assign 10 points for every follow. The points might be a little difficult to implement, but we'll see..
